Class Styles to Choose From

Hatha

A traditional yoga practice to experience an integration of our physical, mental, and emotional selves with our subtle inner nature.
Postures are held while we connect focus and breath to bring strength and stability to our efforts.
These classes include elements to purify the body, calm the mind,
and open the heart.

Vinyasa

Beautifully flow from one posture to the next while connecting breath and gaze with movement.
Practices are thoughtfully designed to build strength and poise at a mindfully moving, flowing pace.
A more modern practice to balance our energies, refine steadiness and ease, and develop a rhythm to create a deeper connection within.

yin

Yin

Yield into a soft, nourishing and clarifying yin practice to cultivate deeper health of our connective tissues.
Fewer postures are held for longer time to regain space and strength in the joints. Yin brings equanimity to our other practices for improved mobility and stability, while allowing space for inner awareness and contentment.

Therapeutic

The use of the techniques of yoga to create, stimulate, and maintain an optimum state of physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. Yoga therapy is a holistic healing art. Rather than prescribe treatments, it invites presence and awareness to empower individuals to progress toward greater health and freedom from disease.

Chair

A gentle and calming form of yoga practiced while seated to reduce stress or strain on joints
and other tissues.
Postures are designed to improve strength, agility, focus and flexibility. Internal awareness is enhanced with the connection to breath and the slow mindful movements of this beautiful practice.
