Your first session will take one hour. We will explore, in detail, the reason for your visit, as well as getting an overall idea of who you are and your day-to-day lifestyle. You can expect questions about past injuries and/or health issues, exercise habits, water intake, sleep quality and stress levels, to name a few.

We will then create a plan tailored to your specific issue, using the tools of asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), Myofascial release (MFR), and mindfulness and meditation. Depending on your schedule, we can then meet weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

It’s important to know that a therapeutic yoga plan is not a primary care solution, and can not replace the invaluable services of physicians, physiotherapists, chiropractors, psychologists, or other health care and wellness professionals. Therapeutic yoga specialists do not diagnose, but work with an existing diagnosis to support your health care and wellness plan.
