In this all-levels yoga class we will focus on the Autonomic Nervous System and its role in the body’s natural energetic and relaxation responses. In this class, you can expect:

  • To experiment with different breathing (Pranayama) techniques in order to up- or down-regulate the Autonomic Nervous System, depending on your individual needs;
  • To flow through some gentle poses, eventually moving into more Restorative poses;
  • An extended resting pose (Savasana) to allow for the Nervous System to completely settle.

    This class is especially suited for students experiencing symptoms of stress, healing from illness or injury, or for anyone who enjoys a calming, mindful yoga practice.
