Michelle Van Lare is an E-RYT 500 International Yoga Teacher and Trainer who has been teaching Yoga, studying and travelling around the world for over 18 years.

An education traversing the globe, Michelle has been certified in Yoga programs and internships in Canada, Nepal, India, and Indonesia, with further studies in Australia and New Zealand.  She has taught in many countries beyond Canada, including Australia, France, Thailand, Turks & Caicos Islands, New Zealand, and most recently Burma (Myanmar) where she taught for an NGO.

Her classes and teacher trainings are an integration of Traditional Hatha Yoga and Modern Vinyasa Flow, threading eastern and western concepts and philosophies to create diverse, inclusive, and informed experiences for practitioners.

Michelle has a love of Asian languages and cultures and brings aspects of what she has learned from her travels to her teachings. With studies in Sanskrit and classical Indian and Buddhist texts, she hopes to enrich the well-being and joy of those she shares her Yoga with.
